Save the Earth While You Work

Employer and Employee Giving Programs

The Nature Conservancy is the leading conservation organization working around the world to address the most urgent conservation challenges at the largest scale, and when you sign up for workplace giving or take advantage of your employer’s matching gift program, you maximize the impact your donation has on these efforts.

The Nature Conservancy has high ratings from Charity Navigator for Accountability and Transparency and is a BBB Wise Giving Alliance Accredited Charity, so you can feel confident that your donation is being used as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Workplace Giving

Workplace giving makes supporting The Nature Conservancy easy for you and helps us protect ecologically important lands and waters for nature and people by providing a reliable source of support for critical conservation work.

The Nature Conservancy participates in several workplace charity campaigns including the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC #10643), state employee campaigns and several corporate campaigns.

The Conservancy is also a member of EarthShare®, a nationwide network of America’s leading nonprofit environmental and conservation organizations that works to promote charitable giving through workplace giving campaigns. Learn more about workplace giving.

Matching Gifts

Many employers will match your donation to the Conservancy — meaning that your gift has double the impact on our efforts to keep vital habitats and unique species from being lost forever.

Matching your gift is easy, simply donate to the Conservancy using our special matching gifts form, and you can check and see if your company will match your gift.

Please note that most employer matching programs will only match the tax-deductible portion of an employee’s donation. For example, if you contribute $25 to the Conservancy, the maximum tax-deductible portion is $21, due to the $4 value of the magazine all members receive. As a result, if your employer only matches donations of $25 or more, your contribution most likely will not qualify for an employer match.

If you’ve recently donated online, by mail or phone, you can still increase your impact to The Nature Conservancy. Simply use our Employer Search for details on your employer’s matching program. Learn more about matching gifts.

Online contributions of $52.50 or more are 100% tax-deductible. Online contributions under $52.50 are tax-deductible, less the fair market value of any thank you gifts you may receive. The fair market value of the Nature Conservancy magazine is $4.
