Whether we realize it or not, trees are a part of each of our lives. Trees filter the air we breathe and give us clean water we need. Trees capture carbon and support the rich forest habitat that is home to more than 80 percent of land-based life.

Forests help slow the connected crises of climate change and biodiversity loss

TNC and UNIQLO are partnering to help protect and restore forests across the United States through the Plant a Billion Trees program. UNIQLO's contribution will help plant 100,000 trees in some of the most vital forests across the U.S., in places like the Northwoods and upper Great Lakes, the Central Appalachians, the Southeast's longleaf pine and shortleaf pine forests, and the Mississippi Delta.

In October 2023, UNIQLO supported TNC's ocean conservation efforts. During the month-long campaign, $3 from every sale of select 100% recycled polyester products in the U.S. went to TNC's coral restoration program, resulting in a contribution of $50,000. Additionally, 50 stores featured partnership displays and messaging.
