People Make A Difference

Interested in Volunteering?

A day outside is better than a day in the office so please consider signing up to volunteer during one of our work days. We own, manage and maintain 55 natural areas throughout Vermont and your help is instrumental to getting our seasonal "to-do" list complete. We hope to meet you outside!

All work days are typically 4-4.5 hours long, see below. Contact us to learn more or to sign up: volunteervt@tnc.org or call 802 229 4425 x111

More on Accountability

Volunteers form the backbone of many projects here at the Vermont Chapter of The Nature Conservancy. Whether your skills lean toward the outdoor, trail working set, or toward office and computer work, we welcome an opportunity to talk with you about volunteering.

The stewardship team uses volunteers for an array of projects, such as invasive plant removal, trail work, boundary marking, and volunteer preserve stewardship.

We also have volunteers doing photography, graphic arts, event coordination, data entry, general office work, or any number of data gathering & entering projects as they arise.

In order to receive announcements regarding volunteer opportunities in your area please fill out a Volunteer Interest Form and email our Volunteer Coordinator and Field Assistant in your area.
