New Mexico March for Science

April 22, 2017

Marches are taking place on Earth Day in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Las Cruces and Socorro.


The Nature Conservancy supports the mission of the upcoming March for Science as it champions publicly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity.

Its goal is to unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good, and for political leaders and policymakers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest.

There are five satellite marches in New Mexico in the following cities scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 22, 2017:
