Since 1995, the students of Frankton Elementary in Frankton, Indiana have raised money for The Nature Conservancy’s Adopt an Acre Program. Through a competition called “Jar Wars,” Frankton’s grade levels battle it out to see who can collect the most money to protect the world’s rainforests.
