Save Wildflowers from Garlic Mustard Invaders!

Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie


Celebrate Earth Day by volunteering at Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie! At this event, attendees will help native woodlands thrive by removing invasive garlic mustard. Afterwards, celebrate your hard work with a complimentary grilled lunch. 

Attendees will meet at the Horticulture Building located at Midewin’s headquarters, 30239 S State Route 53, Wilmington, IL 60481. We recommend wearing layers and long pants. Closed toed shoes are required. For your own comfort, you may want to wear your own garden or work gloves. Tools, materials, safety gear, and drinking water will be provided.
