ArtsATL and the G Channel visited the installation “If Trees Could Sing” created by The Nature Conservancy and Trees Atlanta on display at the Atlanta BeltLine Arboretum. The program uses custom signs that people can interact with by scanning QR codes or texting a number to get back video testimonials from musicians including Reba McEntire, Amy Grant, Bela Fleck, Ben Folds, Taylor Hicks, Chuck Leavell and Kathy Mattea (among others) CUT where they talk about their favorite tree species and the importance of conservation.
