Spring Comes to the Gulf

As in much of the U.S., spring has come early to the Gulf of Mexico this year. The ducks and white pelicans have gone north. Wading birds are nesting in cypress stands that are just beginning to show new light- green leaves. Redfish are tailing in the shallows on warm afternoons.
