What You See Is What You Get Element

An Elephant’s Best Friend
Four-legged rangers are secret weapons in the fight to save elephants.
“Where there are Ranger Dogs, the poachers stay away.”

—Munira Bashir, TNC Kenya Program Director

Thanks to our supporters, we're helping security teams in Africa get access to more training, equipment, new technology, and other resources, including anti-poaching Ranger Dogs.

Your dog can help support two special Ranger Dogs in celebration of National Dog Day August 26 — bloodhound brothers named Warrior and Machine who work hard to keep elephants safe on Loisaba Conservancy in northern Kenya.

Watch the dogs on patrol!
Your dog can help, too!
Create and share a photo of your pet as an Honorary Ranger Dog. The first 200 uploads will be matched with funds for Warrior and Machine.

  1. Click the button below to take a photo or to upload a photo.
  2. Add an Honorary Ranger Dog beret "sticker."
  3. Share the photo on social media.

Your pet will inspire more people to care about elephants — and could win a prize pack with an Honorary Ranger Dog bandana, Fluff & Tuff plush toy, and more.

Huge thanks to our action-match donor, Rebecca Papke, a true friend to elephants and Ranger Dogs. Please join her in becoming a monthly donor. Email Lauren at lmcfarlane@tnc.org.
