The Nature Conservancy Announces 2018 Global Photo Contest Call for Entries

Thousands of dollars in prizes awarded to top photographers selected

Arlington, VA. | March 29, 2018
Starting April 1, The Nature Conservancy will begin accepting submissions for its annual international photo contest.  This year, in celebration of Earth Day, the Conservancy honors the uniting force of nature, from the air that we breathe to the water we drink to the lands that grow our food.  Winners in each category and the People’s Choice award, will be eligible for prizes that include: a digital camera package, gift cards from outdoor retailer Backcountry, inclusion in an upcoming issue of Nature Magazine, and other gift packages.
“Through the lens of a photographer, we can travel to far-flung parts of the world, discover new plant or animal species, capture the beauty of nature, and connect to people from different backgrounds and cultures.  The Nature Conservancy’s annual global photo contest provides professional and amateur photographers alike with an opportunity to be part of the conversation about how we are all connected and united by nature,” said Richard Loomis, Chief Marketing Officer, The Nature Conservancy.

The Photo Contest begins at 12:00 am EDT on April 1, 2018 and ends at 11:59 pm EDT on May 31, 2018 EDT.  Entries submitted before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.
