Fundraising in Your Community
Whether you met one of our Fundraising Ambassadors on the sidewalks of your city or on your doorstep, they are working hard to help us engage new supporters who share our passion for protecting nature.
Sometimes called canvassers, face-to-face, or door-to-door fundraisers, The Nature Conservancy's Fundraising Ambassadors talk with thousands of people a year about the benefits of monthly giving and the difference we can make for our natural world. Our Ambassadors give us a cost-effective, personal way to broaden the reach of our conservation community.

How do you know that a fundraiser is legitimate?
The simple answer is that they’ll be wearing an official nametag and also have our Nature Conservancy logo on display. Like in the photos above.
And they’ll be knowledgeable ambassadors for The Nature Conservancy. These efforts are carried out by professional face-to-face fundraising agencies we partner with and they are well-trained on our programs and values.
"I love working with TNC because it gives me the opportunity to protect and preserve the resources we all depend on.
For myself, my friends, and my family across the country, I'm proud to be making a difference in the safety of our planet and empowering others to do the same for the ones they care about!" - Dylan
