Volunteer Overview

The composting project at the Tucson office of The Nature Conservancy is one of several sustainability components along with water harvesting, solar, native plants, electric car charger and permeable parking.

The volunteer in this position will add the collected compostable material to the bin, turn the compost pile as needed, add moisture as needed, and harvest and spread the finished compost. An interested volunteer does not need prior experience, as training will be provided.
