Volunteer Overview

Save Open Space in Delaware

We are looking for supporters of open spaces and conserving lands to join us in Legislative Hall in Dover this March to meet with legislators and the governor’s office staff.

Volunteers will work with the Delaware Land Protection Coalition and be provided with talking points, a schedule and a TNC member who will join every meeting. But we need you to share why open spaces are important to you!

Open space and conserved land are precious in Delaware, and the clock is ticking on our ability to protect our natural world.

We hear over and over from our legislative leaders how important it is to hear from the public on open space conservation.

If you are interested in joining us on March 26th in Dover or have questions, please contact Emily Knearl, DE director of government relations & external affairs.
