Volunteers will spend the day outside spreading native seeds by hand around the top banks of beautifully restored wetlands. Seeding will add valuable habitat for pollinators and other wildlife and stabilize the soil from erosion. Please make sure to. After the event, stay to enjoy a free lunch!

Please bring water and a hat. Closed-toe shoes and long pants are recommended. The rain date will be reserved for October 21 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

RSVP to Karen Wilke by Saturday, October 7. Email at kwilke@tnc.org or call 515-244-5044.

Parking will be along 200th Avenue (gravel road), just north of 130th Street in Kossuth County. As a group, we will meet at the road and hike back to the wetland restoration. Participants should plan to hike around 1 mile walking around for native seeding by hand.
