Greenhouse Workday

Join TNC on Saturday, April 12, for a morning of transplanting little green native plant seedlings into individual pots in the Kankakee Sands greenhouse.

We'll also have a snack party, so you're welcome to bring a snack to share! The greenhouse is warm, conversations are enjoyable, and working with the little plants is a springtime joy. This workday is appropriate for all ages and abilities. No experience needed to enjoy.

• No experience needed
• All tools and instructions are provided.
• The terrain here is easy and we will be inside the greenhouse where some stools for seating are available.
• Volunteers should be comfortable with moderate physical activity including bending and handwork.
• Please come prepared with drinking water, close-toed shoes, and weather-appropriate layers.
