Prairie Border Nature Preserve in Jasper County, Indiana, offers a unique glimpse into an undisturbed landscape. Undistubed, that is, except for unwanted invasive species.
On May 20, join TNC's Katey Powell with the removal of garlic mustard from the property. Volunteers will be taught about invasive plants, how to identify the focus species and how to remove them.
Invasive plants outcompete our native wildflowers and reduce habitat and food sources for wildlife. Removing invasives allows forests to regenerate ecosystems that benefit native pollinators, insects, birds and more.
