Join TNC's Ryan Goetz at Mosquito Creek in Harrison County to help remove garlic mustard from the property. Volunteers will be taught about invasive plants, how to identify the focus species and how to remove them.
Invasive plants outcompete our native wildflowers and reduce habitat and food sources for wildlife. Removing invasives allows forests to regenerate ecosystems that benefit native pollinators, insects, birds and more.
The terrain here is moderate to challenging, and after the work is done, Ryan will take volunteers on a guided walk of the 2.9 mile trail to learn more about this restored woodland.
