This volunteer position is to assist TNC Tucson Office staff in observing landscape conditions, performing minor landscape adjustments that may include invasive plant removal, light-effort replanting, and reporting problems such as irrigation leaks.
This assistance is in support of The Nature Conservancy’s Tucson property sustainability components that include water harvesting, solar, native plants, composting, electric car charger, permeable parking, and educational efforts. Potential for the position could include phenology and iNaturalist reporting. This position does not perform major landscape work, as that is performed by contracted landscape company.
