Volunteer Overview

TNC Needs Your Voice: Join Us for the 4th Annual Conservation Day at Legislative Hall!

Every year, TNC and the Delaware Land Protection Coalition organize small, in-person meetings with volunteers, state legislators, and governor's office staff at Legislative Hall.

Join the Delaware Land Protection Coalition to advocate for increased funding for open space protection in Delaware at the 4th Annual Conservation Day on Thursday, March 20th, from 11 AM to 4 PM. This is your chance to make your voice heard as we meet with state leaders to discuss the importance of open space.

We will arrange the meetings, accompany groups of volunteers, and provide all necessary materials. All you need to do is show up!

While legislators regularly hear from our policy staff, your voice is new and crucial! You don't need to be an expert on environmental issues—just share why conserving open space and environmental protection matters to you.
