Join us and Amy Buthod, of the Oklahoma Biological Survey, for a short presentation describing the plant community at the Pontotoc Ridge Preserve, followed by an amazing exploration of color, sights, and smells of the wildflowers that occur on the preserve.
Meet at the Preserve Headquarters at 9:00 am. After the 20 minute presentation, the hike will leave from the headquarters building and follow maintained trails for about 2 miles.
Wear suitible hiking gear and insect repellant. Bring a lunch, snacks, and plenty of water. Remember to grab the camera and binoculars too!
