Often heard but seldom observed, the whip-poor-will chants its name on summer nights. We’ll begin with a moderate hike through the woods to a beautiful wetland, home to an abundance of wildlife and unusual plants. As we wind our way back in the twilight, we’ll stop to listen for this elusive bird.
