Join The Nature Conservancy on a Ski for the Planet! We’ll explore the trail network on our Barr Hill Natural Area and learn about why natural connections are as important migrating wildlife as they are to Nordic skiers and snowshoers.
Two groups will set off from Highland Lodge to Barr Hill. One group will do an easy snowshoe and return to the lodge, while a second group will skate ski over Barr Hill roughly 25k to the Craftsbury Outdoor Center traveling at an easy, mellow pace. A reception will follow at the Outdoor Center to learn about why creating connections is important, both for recreational trail systems and also for wildlife habitat.
Note: Attendees must bring their own skis/snowshoes!
