Take the path less-traveled on a guided hike with The Nature Conservancy at Equinox Highlands! Discover a less visited part of the popular preserve on a foliage walk through a hardwood forest and oak knoll.
Join us on a hike at our Equinox Highlands Natural Area, where we’ll explore a less-traveled part of the preserve! This excursion will take us through northern hardwood forests, up the slope to an oak knoll, and then down through Cook’s Hollow ravine. We’ll talk about changes in the forest communities we encounter, the plants we see, and hopefully enjoy some early fall foliage. Participants should be prepared to hike 1.5 miles off-trail with some moderate elevation change. Please contact Murray at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions!
