UP200 Watch Party

Ready, Set, Go!

The UP200, an iditarod qualifier, is one of the top 12-dog mid-distance races in the Midwest bringing thousands of spectators to Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The race route covers 230 miles of challenging terrain from Marquette to Grand Marais and back again, including TNC's Laughing Whitefish Lake Preserve in western Alger County. Mushers face hills, creek crossings, deep snow, and isolated wilderness—a true test of skill and stamina!

As you cheer the teams out of the starting gate, stop in our office on Front Street to enjoy the warmth, cocoa and cookies, and friendly faces.

The Nature Conservancy is a proud sponsor of the UP200.
