Mountainfilm, a documentary film festival held annually in Telluride, Colorado, uses the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. This January in Phoenix, The Nature Conservancy in Arizona is hosting Mountainfilm on Tour, a selection of films that align with the Conservancy’s mission of conserving the lands and waters on which all life depends.

Mountainfilm showcases inspiring stories that feature environmental, cultural, climbing and social justice themes. Each year, Mountainfilm selects the best short films from the annual festival and shares them with audiences around the world through Mountainfilm on Tour.

The Phoenix screening will be hosted by the Conservancy’s director, Pat Graham, and emceed by a Mountainfilm on Tour presenter. At the completion of the program, there will be a panel discussion involving local experts and Conservancy staff who will dig deeper into the themes presented by the films.
