Help celebrate River Days by joining us for the Stream Stewards Fall Watershed Cleanup in the Beaver Valley Unit of First State National Historical Park. Volunteers are needed to help protect the watershed by picking up trash and debris in and around the streams that feed into the Brandywine Creek in First State. Celebrate the end of summer, and beginning of fall, by giving back to nature and your local community.
Adults, families and groups of all sizes are welcome. This event is free and we will also have fun hands-on activities to learn more about the plants and animals that live in the park. Participants will be provided with gloves, pickers and trash bags. We will also provide snacks and water. Please dress for the weather and wear clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty and wet. This event is held rain or shine.
