Platte River Prairies Volunteer Day

Grab Your Gloves and Get Outside with Us

The Nebraska program depends heavily on the efforts of volunteers like you to make our conservation efforts successful.  Volunteering with us is a great opportunity to meet new people and learn more about your natural world.

Email confirmation will be sent 7-10 days prior to each event.  Last minute cancellations because of weather or other circumstances will be send by email and phone calls to everyone who registered to attend on that day.  All dates are Saturdays, and they are always 9:00 a.m. until noon.

Please bring sturdy shoes, gloves, hat, water, work clothes, ear protection, sunscreen, and insect repellent.  Sharp scissors or a good hand pruner work best for seed harvesting.  Large caribiners are great for hanging buckets from belt loops.

Please RSVP to Mardell at mjasnowski@tnc.org or (402) 694-4191 or Steve at stevenlschafer@gmail.com.
