Celebrate spring’s return with a guided hike.

Come to one or come to both!

3:00-5:00 p.m. | Learn about woodland and wetland communities and the restoration of farm fields to native prairies. Young and old will delight in the blooming wildflowers, slithering salamanders, and singing amphibians. Be prepared for a 2.5-mile hike and dress for the elements.

Where: Meet at the parking lot of the Nan Weston Nature Preserve at Sharon Hollow near the intersection of Easudes Road and Jacob Road in Manchester, MI 48158. 

2:00-3:00 p.m. | Sharon Mills historical site will be open for visitors to explore prior to the hike. Learn from an interpreter the fascinating history of the property, first built in 1830, and purchased by the Ford Family in the 1930s.
