This Get Outdoors Day (6/1), lend a hand to this diverse Central Oregon landscape accented by ancient western juniper trees and "painted hills" formations during a weekend-long work party.
Juniper Hills is a 14,000-acre preserve east of Prineville, OR, and during this work party volunteers will remove old fence and collect fencing wire. We will work a full day on Saturday (6/1) & half day on Sunday (6/2). Volunteers are invited to camp on the preserve Friday and Saturday nights.
Registration is required. Click to register.

Get Outdoors Day Oregon is a statewide effort led by the Coalition of Oregon Land Trusts that seeks to connect people to place. On this day, we encourage Oregonians to explore, discover and learn about Oregon’s special places. Oregon Get Outdoors Day works in conjunction with Oregon’s Office of Outdoor Recreation to invigorate a movement of people connecting with the outdoors.
Oregon land trusts work to protect our rivers, farms, forests, wetlands and wild places. This land is not always easy to see or experience, but each acre benefits our diverse communities.
