Help us commemorate the centennial of the Chicago 1919 Race Riot and claim a 20/20 vision for the new century. This multi-generational gathering takes place at the historic 29th and the Lakefront site. Community curators will activate the site from dawn to dusk. The day's events will include:
7 am - 9 am Sunrise Service
Praise Dance, Libations & Song to the Ancestors, Special Tributes & Ceremonies, Message for Community Healing
Citywide Peace & Meditation Yoga Call: Bring your Yoga Mat
10 am - Noon Midday Activities
Toddler's Play Dates, Maker Spaces, Active Seniors, Recreation, Roots & Routes Hike and more.

Noon - 2 pm Abundance From our Gardens
Pack an all-day food basket for your family and crew, community gardens will present a DIY Salad Bar and other fruit & veggie samples to complement your Lunch.
Bring blankets, Umbrellas, Hats and Sun protection. Plenty of water to stay hydrated (grilling is discouraged)
