2019 Horseshoe Crab Census

New Jersey

Delaware Bay is Home to the Word’s largest population of Horseshoe Crabs, and they leave the water during the night time high tides (the highest of the month) to lay their eggs in the sand. Bring your boots and join The Nature Conservancy and other volunteers to count horseshoe crabs on the beach in the surf and contribute to this Citizen Science Effort.
