Join us for a special screening of "The Map to Paradise."

Dr. Frogard Ryan, Director of The Nature Conservancy in Connecticut invites you to join us on Friday, May 31, 2019, at 7:00PM in the Cole Auditorium at Greenwich Library where we are sponsoring a special screening of “The Map to Paradise” as part of the 5th Annual Greenwich International Film Festival.

“The Map to Paradise” is an adventure-filled and gorgeous tale about the birth of the global movement to protect our oceans. From underwater worlds of ice to corals, discover what it takes to build a movement and to create positive change.

Today, we are facing some of the greatest conservation challenges of our time: climate change, coral reef degradation, overharvesting of fish, unsustainable tourism, pollution of rivers and poor water management are threatening community well-being and economic prosperity across the globe. But this film shows us there is a way to protect and restore the lands and waters on which we all depend, so that we don’t leave behind irreparable damage for future generations. This film inspires me, and I hope it does you, too.
