Early Birder Days

Disney Wilderness Preserve opens early four times a year allowing visitors to enjoy nature’s beauty in the magical moments just after sunrise.

Early Bird(er) Days are for anyone that wants to access the preserve earlier in the day to hike or observe wildlife that are more visible in the early morning hours. The preserve will open at 7 a.m. on these special early-access days.

Here are the dates:

  • March 26, 2022
  • June 25, 2022
  • September 24, 2022
  • December 10, 2022

Disney Wilderness Preserve is a beautiful place and we invite our visitors to enjoy the unique experience of hiking through our longleaf pine and wetland habitats in the magical moments just after sunrise.

This is not a guided experience, and no need to register in advance. The preserve gates will open early at 7:00 a.m. on the designated dates listed above.
