Cascade Head Trail Restoration Work Party

Oregon

Register for this volunteer event!

During this Cascade Head volunteer work party, volunteers will assist with trail projects. The work includes a 4 to 5-mile roundtrip hike with elevation gain and may require volunteers to hike off-trail and stand on uneven ground while working. Come prepared for heavy lifting and digging on steep hillsides. The work is best suited for adults, but high school-age children can join with an adult.

Cascade Head is a coastal promontory overlooking the Pacific Ocean that provides critical habitat for native prairie grasses, rare wildflowers, the threatened Oregon Silverspot Butterfly and the Cascade Head catchfly.

Registration is required.

If you would like to register a group of 5+ or would like to inquire about carpool space, contact orvolunteers@tnc.org.
