Camassia Preserve Work Party

Oregon

Explore Camassia Nature Preserve

Camassia is a spring wildflower haven and is home to the rare pale larkspur, which occurs at only a few locations in the Willamette Valley. Although encompassing only 27 acres, Camassia contains many “small worlds”—from Oregon white oak-madrone woodlands to wet meadows—and hosts over 400 plant species.

Volunteers will pull English ivy at an adjacent nature park during this work party. TNC has been helping the City of West Linn Parks by removing ivy, which benefits Camassia by keeping this aggressive weed away from the preserve.
