"A Thriving Future for Boise and the World"

Today’s global environmental challenges like climate change are affecting our land, water, and way of life right here at home. Bas Hargrove will share some of the ways that the Conservancy is working to help people and nature thrive here in Boise, around the West, and around the World.

Bas Hargrove is a policy representative for The Nature Conservancy, working out of its Boise office since 2000. His work focuses on building cooperative partnerships to address natural resource issues. He earned a B.A. in English from Duke University in 1991 and an M.S. in environmental science from University of Idaho in 1997. Bas grew up in Boise and is grateful to live, work, and raise a family in the City of Trees.
