Event Overview

June 1-30: the Volland Foundation will host winners and other notable images from The Nature Conservancy’s 2023 Kansas Photo Contest. The exhibit features stunning images of Kansas’ landscapes, wildlife,and human interactions with nature that are interwoven throughout the exhibit. The gallery is open to the public Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 1-4pm and by appointment.

Reception and Gallery Talk

Join us on Saturday, June 15th from 1-4pm for a celebration of these home-grown talents. Remarks will begin at 2pm with juror and National Geographic photographer Jim Richardson, followed by a discussion of the photos and how they relate to The Nature Conservancy's work in Kansas. It will be offered by TNC state director Ben Postlethwait, Brian Obermeyer, Heidi Mehl and Tony Capizzo.

Admission is free, but reservations for the gallery talk are requested.
