Overview

Event Overview

A guided three-hour birding tour at Emiquon Preserve through a variety of habitats, from woodland to the marsh, an area usually closed to the public, watching and listening for a variety of spring migrants.

Meet up at 7 a.m. at the Public Use Area “Lakeside Observatory.” Bring optics if you have them (we’ll have a few to borrow), bug/tick spray, footwear suitable for muddy conditions and weather-appropriate clothing. This event will occur rain or shine.

We will try to finish up by 10 a.m., depending on the interest of the group.

Please register by emailing Emiquon@tnc.org to receive any last-minute updates.
