Wilson Scanlan Joins New Mexico Board of Trustees
Meet New Mexico's Newest Trustee!
Wilson Scanlan is the newest trustee for The Nature Conservancy in New Mexico. Trustees provide vital volunteer leadership that helps protect the state’s land and water and leverage the organization’s conservation initiatives.
Wilson grew up in Austin and spent his childhood exploring nature in Texas and beyond before moving to New Mexico in 1999. He is currently a part-owner and a board member of SunPower by Positive Energy Solar, New Mexico's leading residential and commercial solar installation company. A local, employee-owned company, SunPower by Positive Energy Solar has offices in Santa Fe, Albuquerque and Los Alamos and is one of New Mexico's largest certified Benefits Corporations. As a B-Corp, Positive Energy is committed to improving our local communities and preserving our planet's environment and natural resources.
Outside of work, Wilson can often be found on the tennis court, on a mountain bike or on the slopes at Taos Ski Valley. Wilson and his wife Jenna are proud parents of three budding conservationists.
