The Nature Conservancy (TNC) is proud to welcome Jamie Aranda to its New Mexico Board of Trustees.

Jamie Aranda was born and raised in Santa Fe, NM. Her love for nature began at an early age while camping and fishing with her family. After earning her degree in Communication from Portland State University in Oregon, Jamie moved back home to New Mexico to begin her career.

She currently serves as the Local Government Affairs and Community Relations Manager in Northern New Mexico for the Public Service Company of New Mexico. Prior to her current role, she worked for the Santa Fe Community Foundation, Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce, and as a consultant for a number of years. Versed in marketing and communication, and with a passion for community and policy, Jamie aspires to yield successful outcomes for the environment, education, and cultural preservation through organizational collaboration and systemic solutions.

As a TNC trustee, Jamie will provide vital volunteer leadership that helps us protect the state’s land and water and leverage the organization’s conservation initiatives. She will also help us build effective relationships to promote TNC’s mission and goals.
