Lou Lunte has thirty years of experience with the Idaho Chapter in a variety of positions, including four previous times as acting state director. In addition to his programmatic responsibilities Lou leads several conservation efforts for the chapter, including Rock Creek Ranch, Owyhee Initiative, Idaho Rangeland Conservation Partnership and Agriculture Initiative.

Married to Cindy, former TNC staffer, and father of two energetic daughters. Lou enjoys camping, biking, hiking and visiting the ocean. He has a bachelor’s in microbiology from the University of Idaho and currently lives in Boise.
