Katy Densmore is an expert at transforming ideas for change into clear action and measurable results. She currently serves as the Senior Advisor for Conservation Projects at the Nature Conservancy. In this role, Katy helps develop the organization’s strategy and apply economic and scientific evaluation to its conservation agenda. In her seven years at the Conservancy, she has provided strategic leadership across conservation, climate action, public policy, and corporate engagements.
Throughout her career, Katy has integrated her formal background in engineering with a passion for people, systems, and organizational effectiveness to create results. Her combined expertise in management, energy, and the environment was built during her 16 years at ExxonMobil, where she held a broad variety of positions across operations, R&D, project management, regulatory advocacy, and strategic planning.
Katy has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University, and has completed executive education at the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School and the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
