Katy Weidenfeller is the Director for People and Operations, North America at the Nature Conservancy, the world’s largest environmental organization. She is an expert in organizational effectiveness and management systems. She is responsible for leading the business processes and personnel strategy in the Conservancy’s North America Region to enable effective implementation of the Conservancy’s conservation priorities.
Prior to this role, Katy was the Director of Strategy for External Affairs, where she helped to lead the Conservancy’s public policy and corporate engagement efforts. Her background also includes 16 years at ExxonMobil where she served in a variety of program management, technical and planning positions.
Katy has a mechanical engineering degree from Rice University and lives in Alexandria, Virginia.
