Mr. Touitou has 30 years of international experience. His track record includes strategy, governance, digital transformation, integration, cyber security, business process management, smart infrastructure, innovation, applications development, geospatial information systems, advanced business intelligence & predictive analysis, as well as leading a project management office practice.
Marc specializes in business process improvements, has a passion for the sustainable development goals, and has had the opportunity to serve a variety of businesses both in Europe and the United States.
An accomplished change leader, he joined The Nature Conservancy in November 2017 as Chief Information Officer (CIO), also leading the Process Improvement Team. Marc was previously CIO of the World Health Organization and prior to that served as CIO of the City & County of San Francisco, where he partnered with the many technology companies of the Silicon Valley to enable the “smart city.”
From late 2002 to 2011, Marc was Senior Vice President & CIO at ASML semiconductors with global responsibilities for all aspects of I.T.
Mr. Touitou was born and raised in France and is a French-American citizen. A graduate of the Fox School of Business and Management, Temple University, Executive MBA (class of 2000), he also attended the Wharton School for Organizational Behavior Studies as well as the UTC (University of Technology of Compiegne in France), where he studied Information Management and Strategy.
Marc lives in Alexandria, Virginia, with his wife, Nadine.
