Star Animal Sundays
Protecting and Conserving Animal Habitats
Polar bears. Elephants. Humpback whales. The number of animals that become endangered or threatened is growing every day, and unless we act quickly, many of these species will be driven toward extinction.
The Nature Conservancy and Star Animal Sundays are working together to ensure the survival of our nation’s most threatened wildlife, as well as the preservation of the habitats in which they live. The mission of Star Animal Sundays is to bring awareness to the spiritual connection we all share with animals, and to help foster an appreciation and respect for their strength, beauty and remarkable gifts.
As part of the company’s new jewelry collection, Star Animal Sundays will donate 10% of net income to the Conservancy, up to $100,000. The jewelry line includes animals designs, each with a unique formation of colored gemstones on the back that represent the individual characteristics of the animal. The charms are available in a variety of styles including necklaces, bracelets and rings.
Their latest additions to the collection feature new animal charms, including the butterfly, owl, wolf, hawk, and dolphin. Learn more about these animals in our illustrated Animal Facts graphic below.
