The Nature Conservancy is making a global impact as one of the world’s largest environmental organizations, with a globally diverse workforce of over 3,500 committed and talented staff based in all 50 states and 30 countries. Our employees contribute to our conservation goals in various fields. Whatever your expertise, with an internship at The Nature Conservancy you’ll be in an environment that nurtures employees by encouraging innovation and professional development.
Each year, The Nature Conservancy hires undergraduate students, graduate students, or recent graduates to fill over 30 paid internship positions during a 10-week summer internship through the GLOBE internship program. These positions are available throughout the U.S. and provide a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between academics and the real-world conservation work that contributes to the health and sustainability of our world.
The mission of the GLOBE program is to prepare young professionals for successful careers in the environmental industry. We hire college students and recent college graduates for paid summer internships in variety of career areas at The Nature Conservancy, and our internship program offers a structured orientation, professional training, network opportunities, mentoring program, and real-world work experience. The GLOBE Program recruits individuals from a variety of backgrounds and experiences and will match qualified and enthusiastic undergraduate students, graduate students and recent graduates with an internship suited to their area of study. We strive to ensure that each intern has a high-quality experience, a committed mentor and a relevant project that provides each intern with additional skills and training that will help them begin their conservation career path.
Open internship positions for summer 2017 will be posted on October 14th on nature.org/careers.
