Date/Time:
Saturday, June 14 at 9:30 a.m.

Overview:
This will be the first-ever butterfly count in Fremont County! We’ll meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Conservancy's Red Canyon Ranch and make a butterfly circuit from the ranch, to the Loop Road, and down Sinks Canyon, ending up back at the ranch by mid to late afternoon. Bring a lunch, water, hat and sunscreen.

Red Canyon Ranch is located 13 miles south of Lander. Turn west onto Red Canyon Ranch road and follow the main dirt road for four miles, watching for the ranch sign and ranch building complex on the right. We’ll gather in the Learning Center on the left side of the road.

Please bring butterfly nets and field guides, if you have them.

Registration/Fee:
$5 fee per participant and open to the public. Please RSVP by June 12 to Rita Faruki at (307) 335-2132 or rfaruki@tnc.org.
