Know Your Volunteer
Crediting her interest in the environment to being raised on a dairy farm and participation in Future Farmers of America in high school and college, volunteer Danielle Russell regularly helps out in the Conservancy’s Madison office answering phones, greeting visitors and sorting mail.
Tom is instrumental to the Conservancy’s fire training program. As the lead instructor for basic burn crew training, he teaches the basics of working on the fire line safely and efficiently.
Shirley Griffin, volunteer extraordinaire in Door County, is willing to roll up her sleeves and “help with any task, whether menial or momentous.” She has become a valuable asset, lending her knowledge, skill and energy to outdoor field work endeavors. More Volunteer Profiles |
