Date/Time:
Tuesday, August 12, 2008
9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m

We will be constructing a short boardwalk (about 70 feet) over a series of sink holes that carry water from a creek into the ground. The area should be dry in August, but if there has been a lot of rain, the ground may be wet. This boardwalk will protect the site from damage by foot traffic in the wet spring months.

What to Bring:
Wear sturdy work shoes or boots. Bring shovels, work gloves, water, sun screen and insect repellent.

Directions:
We will meet at the Hitching Post Bar on the north end of Glidden Drive at 9:00 a.m. To get to the Hitching Post, take Hwy 57 north out of Sturgeon Bay, turn east off Hwy 57 onto County Hwy T at the community of Valmy. Go 2.5 miles east; the Hitching Post is on the south side of the road where County T turns south and becomes Glidden Drive. We'll drive to the site from there.
