2007 Deer Hunting Season Dates at Nature Conservancy Preserves in Wisconsin

(Season dates for the 2008 deer season will be posted when they are available from the DNR.)

CWD Disease Eradication Zone – Barneveld Prairie, Spring Green and Thomson Prairie

  • Bow:  Sept. 15, 2007 – March 31, 2008
  • Gun:  Oct. 13 – Oct. 21, 2007 / Nov. 17, 2007 – March 31, 2008
    All hunters must wear blaze orange to hunt during the extended DEZ hunt through March 31.

CWD Herd Reduction Zone - Baxter’s Hollow, Happy Hill Glades, Hemlock Draw, King-Patterson, Leopold Woods, Pan Hollow, Pine Hollow and SW Unit of Baxter’s Hollow

  • Bow:  Sept. 15, 2007 – Jan. 6, 2008
  • Gun:  Oct. 18 – Oct. 21, 2007 / Nov. 17 – Dec. 9, 2007
